If you decide to contact a recruiter or head-hunter, be aware that the initial meeting is an informal interview, but they will not only be assessing your professional skills and discussing your experience, they will also observe whether you were on time, early or late, if you were watching your phone when they stepped out to go into the meeting room, if your hand shake was firm, if you are dressed professionally or if you were chewing gum.
A good recruiter will provide a holistic assessment of you as a candidate and will ensure to provide all the necessary feedback so you don’t make the same mistakes with a potential employer.
