Within interview guides there tend to be “Culture Fit” questions to gauge how you would adapt to their organizational culture.
A typical question is “What motivates you?” or “What gets you excited to come to work?"
Remember that the winning candidate is authentic, honest and truly delivers a clear and confident answer to questions related to his/her style, motivation and interests.
So prepare your answer to this questions by linking your motivations with the company’s values and mission. Look into the organization’s website and social media. Understand how they define their values and now think about the similarities with your own values and work ethic.
Finally, if possible include an example in your answer to demonstrate how your motivations played a key role in a given project, problem resolution or teamwork challenge.
