Planning for The Future

Everything great that I have achieved has been the result of goal and intention planning and visioning.
Everything great that I have achieved has been the result of goal planning. I’ve always been a visionary and a goal planner. When I was in my teens, I created a life plan with the visions that I had for my future. I have some pretty lofty goals in there, which included education, income, career, retirement and fun. Today at 37, I have accomplished many of them which included tripling my income and buying a house at 23, earning a Bachelors, Masters and PhD, learning to play golf and seeing Alaska. Sure, I’ve crashed and burned too and that’s okay, because I try and I do and I learn and I grow and I keep on moving on. I love to peek at my life plan every year or so and seeing the progress I’ve made. It feels great to check things off that list. Especially, when time and progress sometimes seem to be moving so slowly and I am feeling defeated.
My secrets to success: I NEVER lose my vision and I never stop planning and moving forward. I stubbornly refuse to give up. When I start something from my plan, I finish it. Even if I have to modify and course correct or take some extra time. If I get stuck, I reevaluate, modify my plan, gather the resources that I need and recruit support to get me moving again. Most importantly, I never lose my vision. NEVER LOSE YOUR VISION!
What’s your Vision?
