There are lots of reasons why people struggle with achieving goals. One is overwhelm.
There are lots of reasons why people struggle with achieving goals. One is overwhelm. When we look at the big picture of what needs to be done to get from point A (where you are now) to point Z (the end result), we can become overwhelmed and paralyzed with filling in and acting on the steps between. Good goal setting clearly defines the middle steps, breaking them down into smaller achievable tasks. When you now look at tackling B and C goals, you have clarity, and direction. You know what needs to be done and you can take action to clear them out of the way, so that you can move on to D and so on.
Create a weekly plan to clearly identify your goals and daily action steps and move toward your goals. I use Smart Plans™ that complement my Mission Mapping™ and Holistic Life Plans™. It does not have to be complicated. We just need to create simple action steps that move you toward your desired outcomes. You will begin to feel success quickly and this helps to eliminate the overwhelm that comes with goal planning and achievement. Now, let’s set some goals and demolish them.
