About Me

I am a former physician and Certified Professional Co-Active Coach (CTI trained). My work as a coach is imbued by the philosophy inherent in my training, an approach that is body-mind-spirit focused and my experiences as a former academic surgeon and recovering addict.
I work with clients who, in sobriety, are searching for meaning and purpose, and are rebuilding relationships and professions. Together, we embark on a discovery and uncovering of habits, perceptions and beliefs that are limiting and befriend the addictive identity. My clients are in pursuit of their long-discarded true selves. I am a fellow traveler, companion, champion, and supportive, encouraging voice on the climb back to the surface from the depths of the addictive bottom. Having been there myself, my coaching is about discovering, tapping into, and developing innate talents, capabilities, strengths, spirit and resourcefulness to successfully arrive back at Life. My clients desire lasting transformation and change. I founded Recovery Solutions Life Coaching to serve recovering people in the quest to experience the transformative foundational change upon which successful, fulfilling lives are built and restored.
The foundational experience of abandoning the disempowered identity and embodying a new self that knows freedom, choice, options, feelings, trust, boundaries, vulnerability and intimacy is at the heart of my coaching philosophy. As your coach and as a recovering person, I promise that I will occasionally share some of my personal experiences, perspectives and learning on my path of transformation, but I will always remain committed to the discovery and development of your unique learning, spirit, talents and experiences...your unique path out of the morass of compulsivity.
