Welcome to 2019!
For so many people, 2018, was an incredibly difficult year. Most people I know were so ready to have last year end because in 2018 they experienced a time of turmoil, trauma, unfulfilled dreams, lost relationships, financial difficulties and health challenges.
2018 was a year of learning and a year of loss.. Learning the lessons that were important, so that when you woke up on New Years Day in 2019, you could experience the sunrise in a whole new way. Many of the storms that you experienced last year will move on because in this brand new year your ability to move on from whatever hurt you last year will be significant. And in this new year, and brand new day, you have the choice to begin again and again, moment by moment. No matter what happened in 2018, this year brings a promise of new beginnings. This photo was taken on December 31, 2018 early in the morning. The sky whispered to me that new and magical things would happen in 2019.
It was a special moment when I realized I could let go of all of the toxic people, events, trauma and drama of 2018 and learn that there is always a choice. The choice is yours and mine. To experience joy, happiness, love, friendship, compassion, beauty, nature, health, abundance and so much more .
So take the lessons of 2018 and let them teach you to be more of who you are meant to be in the world from this day forward.
Someone posted my favourite song on social media a few days ago. I think it a very appropriate one to add to this post, as it sums it all up.
