Are You Making The Most Of Your Facebook Business Page?

In a society that craves instant gratification, customers want to know everything about your business or product as quickly and easily as possible.
With a network of over 2.13 billion monthly active users, Facebook is a great way to communicate directly with potential customers – but only if you’re doing it effectively. Generating business through Facebook isn’t as simple as just creating the page. You want to inspire interaction and communication! So, whether you’re just starting out or looking to improve your business, check out these tips to get the most out of your Facebook business page.
1. Choose The Right Profile Picture & Cover Photo
The profile picture and cover photo are the first things that someone sees when they click on your page. They should set the tone for who you are and what you do (take some time to show off your brand’s personality!). Your profile picture should be something clear and recognizable (like your company logo) and let your cover photo be the eye candy of your page that draws people in. An unprofessional looking profile with low quality images sends the wrong message about your business and could send potential customers away.
2. Include A Call-To-Action (CTA) Button
Unless you have an e-commerce store set up within your Facebook page, you’re going to need to direct users to your actual website if you want to generate sales. A CTA button is the perfect way to take potential customers from your company page directly to your website. Add a “Shop Now” or “Sign Up” link to your page to point web traffic in the right direction. For instructions on how to do this, click here.
The most successful Facebook pages spark discussion between the company and its customers. If you’re a local business, attend local events to take photos and tag people you’re networking with. Share pictures of the employees working behind the page. And, most importantly, ask questions! Engage with your followers and be an available resource to your fans.

4. Offer Exclusive Discounts
Don’t let a potential customer’s visit to your Facebook page be a one-and-done experience. Give them incentive to like your page and keep coming back by posting about special discounts and deals that you don’t advertise anywhere else. Your followers won’t let just any business clutter their newsfeed. Let your customers know that you value their appreciation and loyalty!
Go beyond just inviting your personal friends to like your page. Add a link to your Facebook page in your email signature, send reminders to your email marketing contact list, and add a widget to your website’s homepage. Don’t be afraid to wallpaper your link (without spamming!) in as many places as possible. And if you really want to increase your engagement, invest in Facebook advertisements. 6. Most Importantly, BE ACTIVE!
Your Facebook page should be an ongoing conversation – not just a pit stop. Log in frequently to respond to messages and comments. Like your follower’s posts and share content that your followers would want to see. Post interesting links and photos regularly for your audience to react to. Build loyalty in your customer base by making your page something that people want to keep coming back to.
