Have you ever noticed that the things we want most in life tend to be the things that remain most clandestine?
Have you ever noticed that the things we want most in life tend to be the things that remain most clandestine? Well, that’s not by happenstance. In fact, it is simply the end result of giving a “lack-based” energy to what it is we want most. When we first have a thought of “wanting” something come into our consciousness, it usually is carried with light emotion behind it (such as “wouldn’t it be nice if I had xxxx”). But soon we begin to put more emotion into the desire and start doubting it ever manifesting… often thinking, “why hasn’t it happened yet” or “I really need this to manifest soon.” Having those thoughts creates an energy focused on what you don’t have rather than what you do have. And from that standpoint, you are only inviting in more of what you don’t have. What you give energetic attention to – whether good or bad – is what you will always manifest in return.
Though this may sound a bit philosophical, it is no less real in affecting our experience of life. Patience is a virtue for a reason — and is often the most challenging virtue for most of us. Having a vision or desire for something to manifest is a good thing. Trying to force that vision or desire to manifest in the time frame we want it to is what cuts off our flow to that very manifestation. This doesn’t mean we shouldn’t set deadlines or goals. But rather our emotional attachment to them needs to remain free flowing. Doing so will eliminate the energetic barriers that keep us from manifesting our greatest visions.
