Created to Bloom

The emphasis of this article is to encourage us not to settle for less than Gods best! We were created to naturally thrive, bloom and be a light
We were created to blossom. It is not God’s desire that we live defeated, unfruitful , worried and always on edge. He has promised to beautify us with His salvation, and He commanded us to shine His light to the dying world. The fruit of the Spirit in Galatians 5:22 is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, and faithfulness. The desire of every Christian should be to bear the fruit of the Spirit and reflect who our God is. He created us to conform to the image of His Son, whose character demonstrated significance, fruitfulness, prosperity and how to live an extraordinary life. God said that He will not hold His peace until righteousness goes forth and salvation is a lamp that burns.
Most of us desire the power, the anointing and the effectiveness that Jesus had but we don’t really seek to walk in the path Jesus walked. As a result, oftentimes we become frustrated and maybe even give up trying, settling where we are. Many believers are deceived into thinking that when we get saved, we instantly produce fruit without passing through the process of sanctification (the working out of one’s salvation). This is why I wrote my book, The Blooming Woman: Growing the Kings Divine Tree . I really think I should have titled it “The Blooming Christian” since we all, men and women alike, go through the same process of growth. Nevertheless, in the book, I attempt to show the importance of being rooted and grounded in our faith. The book ties key truths together that are necessary to bring about mature, well-rounded believers.
I have a personal need to continuously rid myself of wrong thinking patterns that hinder me from being fruitful. From this need, as well as the desire to help others around me do the same, Bloom Restoration Ministry was born. Our mission is to help people unleash their greatness while helping them identify and overcome their limiting and self-defeating patterns that also hinder them from being fruitful. This ministry also sponsors The Heart of the Matter radio show a production of Pinnacle of Praise show that discusses issues silently plaguing the church including alcohol addiction, domestic violence, divorce, eating disorders, suicide and more. During the show, we also dig deeper to identify the root causes of these problems and discuss how to practically overcome them through Jesus Christ.
When we are truly free in Christ, we don’t try to bloom; we just do. And when we bloom, we become so enraptured watching God tend the garden He’s placed inside of us, that we stop comparing ourselves to others. I recently read somewhere that a flower does not think of competing with the flower next to it; it simply blooms. Similarly, when we allow ourselves to go through the often painful but necessary growth and sanctification process, God promises that we will be like a tree which produces fruit in due season (Psalm 1:1-3).
