No, I Won’t Be Sick Forever—And Neither Should You

Discover how to overcome long term illness and reclaim your health. You don’t have to be on medication forever! Doctors can't help? You can.
No one should ever be told that they need to “get used to” the condition they’re in. It doesn’t matter what medical issue you’re dealing with; you’re not supposed to settle for it. That’s the whole point, right? We’re sick for a reason—it’s supposed to teach us something, maybe to take better care of ourselves. I learned that lesson the hard way when I developed hyperthyroidism. I’ll admit it, yes, it was my fault that I didn’t know how to handle stress properly. But when I sought help, like any normal patient, I expected the medical professionals to guide me back to my former self.
But then, I was told that it was impossible. Excuse me? Nothing is impossible. I wasn’t born with this condition, so why should I accept that once my health deteriorates, it will never improve again? That’s like saying if you catch a cold, you’ll never recover. No! You recover, and you become stronger because of it. That’s how our bodies work. Soon, I realized it wasn’t that I was hopeless—it was that they had no idea how to help me. They were limited, I wasn’t. I decided to take the matter into my own hands.
They couldn’t possibly understand what it feels like to be a thyroid patient, to sweat constantly, to huff and puff after climbing just a few steps of stairs, to be in pain all the time, every day, to be in your 20s or 30s and feel like living a normal life is a luxury. They just didn’t get it. And that’s why I want to help thyroid patients and those with autoimmune diseases. Not only is there hope—you can get better. In fact, we’re going to make that illness disappear altogether.
And on top of that, I’m going to help you achieve the best health you’ve ever had. You’re going to feel better, look fitter, and be healthier than you were before you got sick. We’re going to defy all those who say it can’t be done. They don’t know how to fix us, and that’s their problem, not ours. We shouldn’t believe them because this is our body—your body. You need to take ownership of it.
It is your body, and if the doctors couldn’t heal you, maybe it’s time for you to take back control. Take it into your own hands. That’s what I did, and that’s what I suggest you do too. It’s the only way.
It’s only a matter of now or later, there’s never the option of “never” because you can’t ignore your condition. You know as well as I do that it’s only going to get worse. As much as doctors say it can be maintained or kept under control, that’s just not true. Why? Because our emotions fluctuate, and you can’t have stable levels of emotions all the time. That’s not how we’re wired. We’re emotional beings. We need to teach ourselves how to manage our emotions, not stop it from feeling. We need to teach our bodies how to react appropriately under different circumstances, not avoid it. Because things will and do happen.
We need to learn there’s no need to overreact to trauma or panic when someone doesn’t text back right away. There’s no need to get anxious when people question your decisions or freak out in a crowded space. It’s unnecessary. Instead of trying to manage symptoms, we need to reset your body to the way it was meant to function automatically. Somewhere along the way, you confused your body, and now it’s doing the wrong thing. Let’s help it get back on track.
It’s time to let go of what doesn’t belong to you in the first place and reclaim your freedom and power. Believe what aligns with the person you want to be, and you’ll naturally develop the characteristics of that person. You’ll finally be free from the past and whatever doesn’t serve you anymore. Sure, be grateful for the lessons your past has taught you, but it’s time to move forward and start living your life on your own terms.
Most people never get this upgrade in their lifetime, so consider yourself lucky to be on this journey, no matter your age. It’s a bonus, and it’s your time to shine.
