There are many ways to change your life. One of them is to modify small habits that will have a positive long-term effect.
Here are some steps to get started:
1. Set Clear and Specific Goals: People often think they know what they want, but when asked specific questions, they hesitate, doubt, and struggle to provide examples or details. If you find yourself wavering in your thoughts, it will also affect your actions.
2. Identify Barriers: What is preventing you from changing habits right now? What pulls you back? What value do you find in continuing old habits? How can you compensate for that value differently?
3. Create a Gradual Implementation Plan: Behavior change rarely happens overnight. Start with 2% changes, and once you can consistently maintain those, increase to 5% and so on.
Remember the most crucial rule for habit change: Start Now. Not tomorrow, not on Monday, not on New Year’s. Because if you wait, the moment will never be right, and you’ll keep postponing.
