Changing your life for the better takes guts and determination. The way you think about change
will determine how you approach it.
The Power of Change
Change is a powerful tool to help you realize your life’s goals. Sometimes change isn’t something you choose, but something that moves you in a different direction. The direction you take is up to you, but in my coaching practice and in my own life, I have noticed, that there are no accidents, and that everything that happens isn’t happening to you but instead it is happening for you. Change involves mindset shifts, and people are often surprised at how easy it can be when you let go of limiting belief systems, the suffering, lack and victim mentalities that might have plagued us for years.
Are there goals you want to reach that involve changing your career, home, relational life? Gaining clarity in any of these areas are the first steps to realizing your success in all things. It’s like a domino effect. One move in the right direction, will change all things.
Motivation is a driving force when it comes to change. Once you decide on some goals, and you become determined and create a plan to reach them, motivation will come naturally. You’ll be excited and filled with positive thoughts about the future, which will spur you on to other
changes.
Without the power of change in your life, personal growth is less likely to happen. Being open to changes and shifts that are new to you or that you may not understand helps you learn about the many possibilities available to you.
Embracing Change can do the following:
• Prompt you to take action. Sometimes, just one small shift in your life can change
everything, and you’ll suddenly become more motivated to meet challenges and goals that
you may have been afraid to pursue in the past.
• Help you to become more persistent. Persistence to see a goal through to fruition is a powerful
force in ensuring that positive changes take place. The power of change can help you
overcome boredom, fatigue, stress, anxiety, fear, and other obstacles.
• Promote focus and energy. Mindset shifts can provide the concentration and lift
the energy needed to keep your dreams alive.
• Promote health. One of the greatest powers of positive change is the impact it can have on
your body and mind. When you embrace change, your body, mind and spirit will become healthier and stronger.
• Validation. The power of change in your life helps others see you as a person who gets
things done. The most important part is that self validation becomes the norm, and there is less need for outside validation, when you’re planning, meeting goals and making positive changes. It is so empowering.
• Motivation. Setting goals with timelines, gaining clarity in what you want and doing 3 things per day to accomplish things will give you time to breath each day and embrace the next day with more energy.
• Positive thinking. The “power of positivity” is more about shifting your mindset, and. it comes about when you embrace the opportunities that are bound to start appearing in your life. Even simple thoughts of how the changes will affect your life will have a positive influence on everything you do.
The power of positive changes in your life is infinite. You’re likely to see financial rewards,
personal fulfillment and a sense of security that you’ve never felt before. Sometimes realizing
change in your life takes an enormous amount of effort on your part – but the outcome is
priceless.
The power of positivity isn’t about telling yourself something that isn’t true. It’s about
understanding that you are “in the process of” becoming, doing, achieving and finally “Being”.
