On the Illusion of Identity
We are as the movement above a wood-fire…
Ideas and beliefs form spiraling, inter-flowing smoke…
We see and grasp for that smoke… we call it I…
Yet, we are only the movement… a process unfurling.
The winds press upon the movement…
They shift the process… they shift the smoke…
The smoke may dissipate and seem broken…
Grasping for I, currents of panic arise from the flames below…
Further churning and dispelling the smoke…
The movement still flows… bending and returning…
Unbroken.
