If you want to be CONFIDENT in your mindset, here are 5 Invaluable things that you need to know. #ConfidenceCode
It is likely that your first thought is “I feel stuck, now what” then comes the floodgate of emotions which leads to your next thought. Then the next…
This next thought, however, is critical to how the scene plays out in your life. The CONFIDENT Mindset will help you navigate the times when you feel unheard, unseen for all the work that you do, and help to boost your self-image.
Sometimes in our mental space, we began to condemn ourselves or blame others for unforeseen catastrophes, which leads us to feel hopeless, helpless, and remain stuck on our life’s journey.
Although we are talking about a mental issue in this scenario, often we view reality differently. Every cause, beings with a thought which is followed by an emotion. I am sharing this with you so that you can observe how we handle the initial thoughts (while helping you to see that, thoughts are things).
We blame ourselves, saying things like “How could I be so stupid” or “I should have done XYZ so I could have avoided this problem” or “Why didn’t someone tell me about this before”? (I find that in most cases that the experience is here to teach you something)
Tips to use when building The Confident Mindset:
• Say to yourself “That is interesting" without offering yourself to add to the thought.
• Extend grace to yourself and others before you blame or condemn.
• Examine yourself “How would I approach this situation if it were someone else that I loved”.
• Consider reaching out for help. Get a mentor, coach, or accountability partner who will hold you accountable to The Confident mindset.
• Before you speak, think of how you want the situation to end and speak from that perspective.
I understand that in learning a new skill, it will take time to master that new behavior. Let me encourage you that it is possible and that you can do it.
Simply start with a small task first…observe your emotions and/or words for a week be sure to take note of how you feel.
The next step, share those emotions and words with your mentor or coach.
And before you know it, you will be light years ahead because you would have taken the necessary ACTION in getting The Confident Mindset that you need in order to move forward to what you truly desire.
