Never give up! Life will always throw challenges your way. Sometimes life feels like a roller coaster but I encourage you to keep on going…
Hold on! Do not give up!
Whatever you do… Do NOT give up on that goal! Life will always throw challenges our way. Sometimes life feels like a roller coaster. There are always going to be ups and downs, periods of time when you’ll feel like everything is lost and there’s nothing you can do. Periods of time that will make you think “I can’t do it. I give up”.
Now how do you combat that?
Simple!
If the problem isn’t giving up why should you?
If all you can do in the moment is hold on then do that. What do you have to lose? Grasp onto hope and don’t let go. Know that the pain will pass.
Focus on one step at a time. Take a small step if you just but keep moving forward. You can do it. All you need to do is believe in yourself and your plan.
Remind yourself why you’re here. How you had to struggle to get to the place you are now and how, if you give up now, all that struggle would have been for nothing. Remember your goal. Take a look at what motivates you and fires you up.
Tired? Take a break and come back with renewed vigour.
Do anything you can to tell yourself that you can do it. You will do it.
You made it this far right? Why not you? What do you have to lose?
A good way to get yourself out of a slump is to take a step back, breath and look at the issue again with a calm mind and a new perspective. Once you get the clarity you need you can work your way through any problem. Yoga and Meditation are two great ways to empty your mind and get clarity.
This is also a good time to remind you that breaks are super important too. If you work continuously and don’t take time out for yourself, your mind is going to get cluttered. You may get overwhelmed. Continuous routine gets boring and kills creativity.
Take time to recharge if you’re ever feeling overwhelmed. Once you’re charged up, take a look at the problem again. You’d be surprised by how big of a difference a little break can make.
Once you start working again, keep reminding yourself about your goal. How every minute is a minute closer to achieving your target. How every step is a step closer to the finish line and how you, yes you, are 100% capable of getting there.
You can have the life of your dreams.
All you need to do is hold on and keep trying.
Keep pushing and keep on moving forward.
You’ve got this!
