Taking Care Of You

Life can be stressful. The tools and skills to keep yourself grounded and focused is very important. I am grateful I can pick myself up and continue.
Sometime Life can be very difficult. Lately I look at each corner of my life and it truly makes me dizzy. Have you ever been at that place within your life that you ask yourself, what next? I think we all have. It is at this time that we need to feel our troubles and just deal with them for a bit and then let them go, and yes I know that can be difficult. In the past, I always would push my trials down and then I became very sick. You have to feel it, to heal it. It’s definitely a balancing act. Lately I have had a fair amount coming at me, and being human and just losing it for a moment is ok. However it is so important to pick ourselves back up and continue to move forward. I embrace gratitude. There is so much to be thankful for when we just take a moment and look around. Also doing the things that make you happy and will bring a smile is important. I have been taking this time to exercise, eating healthy and helping others. It has given me something positive to work towards and it keeps me balanced.
When you feel stressed, full of anxiety etc. feel it, embrace it for a moment and rest. Then take a moment for yourself and do what makes you feel good. Reading, spending times with friends, going out into nature, whatever it is, do it for you. Life is a precious gift and there is a lot to embrace, take a moment and list those things and I bet your heart will feel lighter.
