We live life one day at a time, OR DO WE?

Mindfulness practices can teach awareness of physical, mental, and emotional supporting the Learn, Unlearn, Relearn, and My Learn process.
Most of us just exist as we go through life. We move from one moment to the next, so that a day, a week, a year or even a decade goes by without us really noticing. We often give our lives away to distractions or worry, not taking time to experience who or what is around us, and not taking the chances to reach for the position, the project, or the challenge that seems out of our reach.
I challenge you to start living your life. It is simple, yet not easy, to live your life.
When I was a teenager, I experienced a traumatic event that re-shaped my life. I found myself working toward goals and achieving them while not experiencing life around me. I tamped down emotions, moved from one activity to the next as if I were a shadow – not really living.
A mindfulness practice taught me to become aware of my physical, emotional, and spiritual self. Coaching has challenged me to explore the stories I told myself related to the traumatic even or other stories that kept you from me from experiencing the world and taking healthy risks. These two practices have turned my life around, so I now live moment-to-moment, aware of my physical responses, feeling my emotions, and listening to my intuition.
You too can live your life! Use the Learn, Unlearn, Relearn, and My Learn process.
Learn about yourself and your beliefs. Explore new ways of being so you can Unlearn actions or activities that are not serving you. Practice new techniques that allow you to Relearn new ways of living so you can act through the My Learn process.
By experiencing regular coaching sessions and establishing a daily mindfulness practice you too can move from existing to living.
