About Me
Your job is tough. I’m here for the tough parts, too. Founders and high-growth leaders have high expectations placed on them, and while many have mentors, investors, and boards, they lack a sounding board that is focused on them rather than their business. I started working on how to help founders grow their businesses, develop as leaders, and thrive as people. We are all messy and human and when we do things that make us miserable we and the business can suffer.
People I work with have the unique challenge of accomplishing hard things that have never been done before. As they try to improve the world, they find they want to improve themselves. Working with individuals in the way that I do means transformation. Often leaders come to me because they are struggling with something fundamental to them. They are very likely aware that they need to instigate change somehow and have probably tried many things but haven’t as yet found a solution.
I'm a Berkeley-trained executive coach based in Silicon Valley. After 20 years as an entrepreneur, investor, and advisor, I have supported hundreds of founders and helped them become CEOs. He believes that through leadership coaching and similar approaches, we can impact the world for the better, one bold leader at a time.
I led portfolio value at 500 Global, a venture capital firm with $2.7 billion under management. I was lucky to lead a global team helping startups in over 80 countries and their founders develop connections, raise capital, and create a thriving community. Previously, I led a venture studio for a global bank, was a startup founder in fintech and ecommerce, and was a management consultant. I have an MBA from Georgetown University and am a graduate of the Executive Coaching Program at UC Berkeley.

When I started speaking with Vijay, I was looking for clarity on my next steps. I felt overwhelmed with the potential paths to take in my professional life. He supported me in clarifying my personal goals and reframing my professional milestones. After working with Vijay, I felt more confident and secure on my founder journey.

I was in a season of transition and Vijay helped provide an excellent space for us to explore this juncture with intention while guiding with structure that allowed for concrete thoughts to emerge. I appreciated his support during our session and would recommend Vijay to anyone seeking a process towards clarity.
