About Me
A good leader really wants to make a dent in this world and has worked hard to that end.
The problem is, she has been a doer her whole life and now she is expected to lead.
He has the technical competence and even good management skills, but he lacks the presence that inspires confidence in him as a leader.
I know what it’s like to have positional authority, but not feel like people respect you as a true leader. Some of the answers are quick and easy...others come at great cost.
I will take you through a 3-step process:
1) Assessment: Where do you want to be?
2) Feedback: Uncover blind spots
3) Paradigm Shift: Facilitated introspection
You've probably searched online only to find superficial self help techniques. Nothing beats real human interaction. Let's have a quick chat to explore more - no strings attached!
It’s a shame to see good leaders not taken seriously because they never took time to focus on a few key development areas.
I have seen one client after another discover confidence and an ability to communicate powerfully using their own style. Leading becomes a joy when your character and persona command the respect of others!

Through only 4 coaching sessions with Tom over the course of two months, I was able to reach my goal. In the last two weeks, I’ve given 5 public presentations/speeches and have felt confident, 95% less anxious, and able to focus on communicating with the audience instead of my own fears and anxieties. I appreciate Tom’s caring, personable, persistent approach. He wasn’t afraid to ask tough questions, and he cared enough to provide the accountability I needed. He listened well and affirmed not only my hard work but also me as a person. Thank you, Tom, for all your help, and God bless you!

I'm a self-motivated learner, but Thomas challenged my thinking to help me reflect in more productive ways in areas of lifelong learning and in gaining the most from one-off leadership situations. My series of personal coaching sessions with Thomas was both stretching and affirming!

"I’ve completed six coaching sessions with Tom over the last few months and have found the sessions highly practical and helpful for my development. I’m a doer, I solve problems and work hard to get things done myself but I’ve grown in thinking with more clarity at a big picture level and have greater self-awareness of my potential blindspots in the way I approach tasks. I’ve become increasingly able to identify strengths in the volunteers I lead and I’m more willing and comfortable asking people to help. Tom’s great at asking questions that have helped me dig more out of my ideas and I’ve taken away skills which will continue to be helpful in my career."
Geoff - Director, Non-Profit, Singapore
"The coaching experience for me was so life giving. I am by nature a very organized person and normally don’t feel a need in this area, but I had become overwhelmed with all the different options I had available to me. This time of being led as I verbally processed my thoughts helped me to clarify what I needed to do. I now have perspective and a clear vision - and hope!"

"Tom, thank you for inspiring me! Having you coach me through a number of challenges I was facing as an IT leader has been a highlight of my career. "Why didn't I do this sooner?" I keep asking myself. Your positive attitude and genuine desire to help, created a great learning environment. Through questioning and listening, you helped me think through and implement actionable steps to overcome the challenges. I was so impressed with the results I was getting, that I soon started to apply some of the coaching principles in my discussions with people reporting to me. It was amazing! I now feel much more confident and better equipped to lead the team I'm privileged to work with."

"Tom's coaching has helped get me on track for greater productivity and more enjoyment of life. For some time I had been suffering from an overall lack of energy that was affecting my ability to follow through with work and personal commitments. Tom helped me pinpoint the most likely causes of that. He then helped me break the problem down into manageable action steps that I easily began to implement right away. I'm amazed at how such a seemingly major problem has now begun to correct itself through some fairly minor changes in routine."
Charlie - Regional Director, SE Asia
“I cannot speak highly enough of Tom’s ability as a personal coach. He is an amazingly smart and capable professional who kept me on track with my goals. Tom has provided me with an appropriate level of guidance and support that motivated me to effect the changes I needed to make for a more fulfilling life. It has been a truly enjoyable and rewarding experience working with him. If you have never done personal coaching before, I would strongly encourage giving it a try with Tom. It has been a gift for me to work with such a brilliant individual who deeply cares about my personal well-being and development."
