Working with Shirley over the last few months has really helped me shape who I am in my personal life and who I want to be as a leader. She has pushed me to focus and gain a better understanding of just what it means to be a leader. As long as you are willing to put in the work she is right there to help you along the way. I personally would say she is truly remarkable and there is no cap that can be place on the benefits that working with her will bring to you.

As I have found the case with some of my own clients, from time to time I have found myself disconnected from my business and as a result, de-motivated to do anything other than client work. Any business, including mine, is either growing or declining and if I’m not consistently doing effective things to grow my business, it’s declining. I needed to find the mental energy to identify things to grow my business that didn’t feel like a burden and, then, do them consistently. Shirley Terrell, through her patient and effective questions and exercises, has allowed me to reconnect with my purpose and consistently act with intention to grow my business. She has given me exercises and paradigms that I use to change my state and energy level when the emotional energy isn’t there to do what is important for my business. All this is to say, Shirley is EFFECTIVE at helping me achieve my business goals. And when you strip everything else away, that’s what counts in a coach. I would recommend her to anyone not making the progress they know they can in their life or business.

I have been working with Shirley since November of 2017. The growth that I have gained in such a short period of time with her assistance is unfathomable. Her coaching style is creative, trustworthy, and effective – leaving you an enduring valuable lesson or new understanding after every coaching session. The wisdom she brings to her lessons is unique. She not only asks questions, but the right kind of questions. Instead of feeling like an interrogation she is able to create a dynamic flow between us where we both contribute. She helps me to gain a different perspective, envision new solutions, and even develop ways for me to question myself for future situations while still pulling on my strengths. The way she is able to recognize my stories and feelings and then use that to help shift my thinking beyond them to open up new possibilities is amazing.
