Teaching has always been my true calling. Anything I’ve ever known or was excited about, I’ve wanted to share with others. I also realized that there was a real need for a more well-rounded, holistic learning environment that would incorporate in its delivery and curriculum the importance of thoughts (IQ) as well as feelings (EQ), and the importance of applying subconscious techniques (like visualization and imagery) as well as conscious goal-setting techniques (such as strategy and planning). Creating a truly holistic school that would unite all of the above — thinking, feeling, being, and doing — to help you get where you want to go, became my passion and my mission.
In one interview, I was asked what success means to me. Without hesitation, I found myself saying: “My students define my success.” What I think is important for any teacher is knowing that your students really “get it” by the end of the course; that they feel confident they got what they came for. As a teacher and as the Executive Director, I strive to deliver a learning experience that is memorable, enjoyable, and — by the end of which — you feel you got much more than you bargained for.
