About Me

Hey there, I’m Renata!

My story begins in my childhood. Mine was littered with trauma and neglect. The environment I grew up in taught me that:

Life is hard and struggling in it is normal
Money is hard to come by and difficult to manage
12 hour work days or 2 jobs is necessary to get by
Relationships look like arguing and hurtful words
Asking for help is a bad thing
No one understands what I’m going though
These were all repeated experiences I had in my childhood that became the beliefs I internalized as a child that then molded the decisions I made as an adult. Through several painful detours (strays from my most-aligned path) I became very good at several things.

1: My relationship with myself. This included learning about my dark spots – like my childhood trauma, limiting beliefs surrounding finances and career, and the insecurities and low self-worth that stemmed from them. It also included learning about my strengths and bright spots!
2: How to replace bad habits with healthy ones.
3: How to listen to my intuition. I learned how to get quite, become still, and listen to my inner guidance. I found that the more I did this, the more what I needed flowed to me, and the direction I wanted to go became more and more clear.
4: How to use compassion and forgiveness to heal.

I have transitioned careers several times in my life and I have finally come to one that fills my heart with joy, my work with fulfillment, and my life with meaning. I’m a cycle-breaker that refuses to accept struggling an hardship as a way of life – for anyone! I am now a coach and reiki master by training, but also by nature and experience. I love to have people along my journey that resonate with me and care about making a positive impact in their lives and in the world- and helping them to find meaning and joy in this short life!
