About Me
I am grateful to offer services as a holistic life, wellness, and spiritual coach as well as a yoga, pilates, meditation and mindfulness teacher. My company is called TulaSoul (Tula means "balance" in Sanskrit; "wind" in Finnish; and "poem" in the Philippines).
Clients can tell that I genuinely care about them, as I demonstrate curiosity, compassion, and empathy; as well as passion for my field. Helping others has been my goal since I was twelve years old and decided I would be a psychologist.
Which is exactly what I did. After obtaining my doctoral degree in clinical psychology and working in a successful private practice for thirteen years, I am confident in my skills and ability to easily assess a client's current status and identify obstacles that may be impeding progress. I also know how to trust in both my own and my client's intuition, and when to steer coaching in a particular direction versus allowing the client to lead.
My clients and I work together to establish both short and long-term goals, and based on feedback I've received, they are amazed at how effective my coaching style is in helping them reach their goals. Clients say that they appreciate my candor and honesty, which is always delivered with compassion, humor, and gentle encouragement. I also offer extra resources and creative (optional) homework that clients can use between sessions.
Yoga and meditation been transformational in my life, and I teach these healing practices to my clients if they want to incorporate them in their plan. Yoga is for everyone, and there are modifications for all levels of fitness, flexibility and body type. It is not a form of exercise, rather, yoga is about being present, calming the fluctuations of the mind, and synchronizing breath to movement.
The women I work with present with a variety of concerns, including: life transitions, interpersonal challenges, career confusion, addiction, disordered eating, self-confidence, etc. I welcome all women's issues.

VerifiedWhen I was matched with Dr. Jo and read her bio, everything she had experience with and was interested in matched with everything I was looking for in a coach! Weve had a few sessions so far, and I have never felt so comfortable with a therapist/coach right off the bat. I can tell she cares about me and my thoughts/feelings. She listens well, is able to give good advice and guidance. She doesnt just sugarcoat things and is real with me. Its nice to have a non-judgmental space to process and dove deeper into who I am and who I want to become. I am so thankful we connected, and Im looking forward to working with her long term!

If I could give Dr. Jo Lamm a million stars, I would without hesitation. She's absolutely amazing: kind, brilliant, compassionate, funny, authentic, and reliable. She creates a safe space for sharing, listens and communicates well, and is an all-encompassing healer: body, mind, and spirit. Dr. Jo is insightful and experienced, and I trust my wellbeing to her. She allows me to process and share my thoughts at my own pace. I highly recommend her.

Ive been working with Jo for the past 6 months. Jo is very present during the sessions, she is a great listener and always gives a positive perspective to whatever it is we are discussing. Shes friendly and I feel that she is always on my side, always looking for my best interest and helping me listen to my own voice. Shes also very relatable and draws from her experience which makes the whole interaction all the more humane. I always look forward to our sessions but even when life is tough and I cant attend sessions she stays available via email. What I love the most about her however is how non-judgemental she is. She knows changing habits and patterns is a process and doesnt judge relapses or redundant thoughts. Great experience overall and will continue to work with her.
