About Me
Coaching with me, leaders are:
--Aligning daily practices with guiding values, transitioning from merely career survival to career thriving.
--Showing up more confidently and effectively for difficult conversations.
--Establishing clear boundaries to stave off burnout and overwhelm.
--Enhancing workplace influence through improved emotional regulation.
--Leaving impostor syndrome, people pleasing, and internalized ableism behind.
--Reclaiming agency in their work lives by interrupting patterns of self-abandonment and black-and-white thinking.
-- Embodying heart-centered leadership.
I integrate simple yet powerful mindfulness and movement practices into our coaching conversations, providing tools you can draw upon daily in your work and beyond.
My journey to coaching has been circuitous, shaped by both personal and professional experiences. Identified as gifted in childhood, I later discovered my fourth-grade dyslexia diagnosis and recognized my ADHD as an adult. This understanding brought clarity, leading to acceptance of my challenges and celebration of my unique strengths—ultimately finding comfort in my own skin.
My coaching approach is informed by a decade of moving meditation (dance) and mindfulness practices. I am a skillful facilitator with deep expertise in organizational culture and effective teamwork. An International Coaching Federation (ICF) certified coach, I hold a master's degree in sociology from Harvard University and a B.A. in psychology and sociology from Indiana University.
Coaching with me is a thought-provoking, creative partnership that inspires and supports you to maximize your potential, address challenges in new ways, and accomplish your goals. We're not here to "fix" you, but to gain greater understanding and acceptance of your unique self.
I listen deeply without judgment, ask insightful questions, share my observations, and invite you to explore the power of metaphor, access your feelings, and rediscover your body's wisdom.

If you're neurospicy and looking for coaching support, talk to Amy. I think you'll feel understood in a rare and valuable way. If you're neurotypical and looking for a coach also talk to Amy. Coaching conversations with her are thrilling. Her twice exceptional mind is part of what makes her a uniquely gifted coach and listener. I don't throw words like gifted around - I believe that most skills can be acquired with practice - but Amy really is exceptional (and has also honed her gift with practice and training!). Coaching has an amazing ability to both help you be more yourself and deeply change the ways you think and act.

Amy is a wonderful coach who allows incredible amount of space for self-generated insights. Her approach and the feelings of the calls is subtle, but the impact is so incredibly deep. Amy held me throughout my discovery of a late ADHD diagnosis in a way that I will always cherish. She brings her own neuro-spiciness to her work but doesn't allow it to overshadow whatever you're figuring out in your own world. Everyone should work with Amy!
