Our Actions Reflect the Quality of Our Thoughts

Our ‘Inner World’ always manifests itself in our ‘Outer World’. Newly separated? This is a must read
Everything we perceive in the physical world had its origins in the invisible, inner world of our thoughts and beliefs. We’re all ‘meaning-making machines’ that are always looking to attach meaning to the life situations and events we face. To stay present and positive we must pay attention to the meanings we are assigning.
For example, if your partner were to leave you for someone else, this could be a crippling experience — or not — depending on what meaning you assign to it. In situations like this, many people look for ways to blame and find all the flaws in the other person and play the victim. However, thinking in this way will only fire up your ego and cause an internal anger/rage that can leave you bitter for months, years or a lifetime!
A more constructive and helpful approach might be to look at the situation as a new opportunity, a chance to meet new people or try new things. It’s not like there’s a right or wrong choice here, but the latter does provide a more constructive means of bouncing back and becoming stronger.
The power lies in the revelation that we have a choice. We can choose the story about every situation that arises in our lives. The stories/meanings that we assign will eventually become our truth.
If you make challenging your story, a regular habit your whole world will transform. Learning to think differently in our internal world is the key to creating our reality in our external world.
Every thought we have has the power to bring into being the visible from the invisible. It is absolutely crucial for us all to each understand that everything we think, do or say comes back to us in some way. Every thought, word or action- without exception- manifests itself, somehow, as a tangible reality.
We must watch our thoughts, because they will eventually become words. And we must be aware of our words, because they will inevitably become our actions. And we must watch our actions, because if we don’t they will eventually become unhelpful habits that we may end up spending the rest of our lives ‘trying’ to break.
Question) “Our Actions Reflect the Quality of Our Thoughts …” If you were to accept this assumption as true, how might your attitude towards your life and the lives of other people change?
