How do I know if I need business coaching?

The right business coach can help you sort through activities that might be necessary for your business but not productive for the business owner.
Most of my clients are inundated with activities that may be necessary for the business but not productive for the business owner. The right business coach will look at your operations and daily tasks and how you do them. The core of my approach is using the time that people have to their best advantage for their business and their lifestyle. That might mean, for example, having someone else do the accounting or social media. In other cases, it may be an exploration around why they are doing a particular task at all. If you feel you are working too hard, if you rarely take a vacation, if you are working extra hours every week, a business coach can help you evaluate what you can delegate and automate so that you can focus on only the tasks that draw upon your strengths.
Another advantage of having a business coach is that he or she can identify potential opportunities to focus on that may have been overlooked or simply not identified as needing attention. While feeling swamped is a common challenge for my clients, other signs that you might need a business coach include wanting to acquire new skills, needing to strengthen personal accountability or pulling your business out of a rut
