Honest and Authenticity

We are missing the honesty and authenticity of the Digital Age, and that has to start with us.
Living in the Digital Age is an illustrious time, but also a challenging one as we deal with a continual flow of fake news, fake posts, and a non-stop perusal of Snopes to validate the info streaming across your feed every second. We continue to digest information that the media feeds us, but we seldom question the accuracy of the information or the authenticity of the content.
We’ve all been part of a major storm watch where the media informs us that we are doomed within the next few days, only to find out a few rain drops fell from the sky, and the wind picked up to 30 m.p.h. and that was our illustrious storm watch. We fall into a panic based on media hype and misinformation, and we accept this chaos as life on Planet Earth.
We are missing the honesty and authenticity of the Digital Age, and that has to start with us. It has to live inside of us in order to exist, and we have to nurture it, and allow it to grow like anything else that we desire or manifest. We need to challenge our reality and invite honesty and authenticity in, as we dissect the real components that make up our lives. We can’t live out our life journey like the media, hyping one moment or creating a continuous hyperbole in order to create an impression of who we are as walk through our day. I think we deserve more as spiritual beings on this planet that are diving in and having a human experience. I think we need to savor a delicious dose of authenticity, and attract it into our lives and question the meaning of who we are and why are we here.
Our friendships and relationships should move us forward and bring out our greater potential of being, instead of being used as a platform to get us from one ladder rung to the next, assuming that something in the future will be more attainable if we keep these “certain people” in our lives. I think we need to challenge our circle around us, and merge with those that have genuine love, a real authentic love that can be felt through actionable intention. Sometimes we simply accept the truth before us and we digest it as truth without questioning the intention or real meaning behind its purpose, whether sinister, conniving, or authentic. Our thoughts work the same way as they flow into our mind 60 to 80,000 times a day importing and planting information that is usually disruptive and dishonest. We transfer the information as truth and digest it as it alters our mood, thought process, and overall wellness.
Let’s start with today, this present moment, and actively monitor our thoughts, and dissect our inner circle, so we live a more authentic life. Let’s focus our thoughts on honest intention and truth, rather than the made up videos we play in our heads while showering or driving to work. We can live a happier and more joyful existence by manifesting and living a more authentic and honest life. A life that is filled with real love, kindness, and an actionable intention to be better.
Remember, “We are not human beings having a spiritual experience, we are spiritual beings having a human experience”, (Pierre Teilhard De Chardin). We have free will, and the choice is ours what we digest, and what we believe is truth. Let’s choose Happiness.
