How Can a Small Decision Eliminate Procrastination and Turn Your Life Around?

Procrastination is rampant and targets ADHD. It eats away at productivity like a disease, but it is not terminal. Can a small decision/baby step help?
Make a small decision to downsize to Baby Steps & begin! It’s that simple. It rarely feels easy at first, but it is simple.
If the voices in the office, your home or your head make it sound like it will take “forever” to finish the project,
we might PROCRASTINATE.
If it does not look like it will be fun, look beneficial and we do not care about the project,
we are likely to PROCRASTINATE.
If we feel exhausted just thinking about the project,
we will probably PROCRASTINATE.
A very small decision to start in a very small way (i.e., clear just one dirty pan from the stove and put it in the sink.
Wait, clearing one dirty pan from the stove and putting it in the sink can turn my life around? You’re kidding, right?
“Can a small decision really turn my life around?” you ask.
Absolutely and here is how it works.
A small decision and action ignite an emotional and mental energy source that we can compare to a NASA space shuttle’s blast-off. However, we do not require that massive amount of energy to propel us to wash the dirty pan, then maybe wipe down the stove. I once that some genius named Newton (I think he may have ADHD-LOL) created some law of motion that states the amount of energy required to maintain momentum is much less than the energy required to start.
It’s T-5:00 minutes until blastoff with a nagging project or task that you actually do want or need to do. Just make the small decision now, and take action for just 15 seconds and you have started!!!
Make the small decision to start with baby step and you have ignited the “blastoff engines” and procrastination is incinerated and eliminated in the process. A duplicatable process of breaking down projects and tasks into Baby Steps.
On what project will you choose to apply this concept and begin to turn your life around with a small decision?
