It's OK

It's okay not to be okay.
I mean it’s not okay, but it’s okay not to be okay! It’s okay to have bad days. It’s okay to experience depression and take as long as I need or you need to work through it. It’s okay to be sad. We may feel like all the people we love want us to be happy and successful. We may feel like by being sad or depressed we’re sharing sadness. We’re not. We’re sharing so much more and it’s okay. It’s okay not to be okay. Those are the times we learn the ones we love and who love us would rather be with us than only with us when we’re happy.
It’s okay not to be okay. And by giving ourselves permission not to be okay we give others permission not to be okay too. We give them permission to be themselves! We help them feel that we’re all imperfectly perfect for each other! We’re Welcome. It’s not okay, but it’s okay not to be okay! It’s okay to be us.
