Coaching vs. HypnoCoaching

One of the most common questions I get as a Certified HypnoCoach is, "What is the difference between regular coaching and HypnoCoaching?"
One of the most common questions I get as a Certified HypnoCoach is, “What is the difference between regular coaching and HypnoCoaching?”
What Is Coaching?
The International Coach Federation defines coaching as, “partnering with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their personal and professional potential.” John Whitmore, author of Coaching For Performance, defines coaching as, “unlocking a person’s potential to maximize their own performance” and “helping them learn rather than teaching them.”
An analogy that I like to use is that a coach is like an old wild west stagecoach — a carriage with four wheels and a horse — that helps people get from one place to another. Coaches help people figure out where they are, help them figure out where they want to go, and then help them get there.
What Is HypnoCoaching?
How is HypnoCoaching different from life coaching or business coaching? HypnoCoaching enhances the regular coaching process by working very deeply with the subconscious mind. HypnoCoaching includes a variety of hypnotherapeutic techniques, visualizations, and guided imagery exercises. We use these tools to bypass the conscious mind’s intellectual critical factor and directly contact the subconscious creative force that resides deep within us. We call upon the subconscious mind to work in alignment with our physical dimensions, our emotional dimensions, and our mental dimensions.
These HypnoCoaching tools have several benefits by helping people …
… move through the regular coaching process more quickly …
… process their thoughts, feelings and emotions more clearly …
… face up to blocks and resistance more readily …
… and thus get far more out of every step of the regular coaching process.
