There are many ways to express love, even when you aren’t actually saying the words.
Actions speak louder than words! If you love someone deeply; your actions can convey love better than words. And this is true especially after marriage. But the real story starts after the rush comes down and the excitement of the honeymoon stage wanes. That is when your actions convey more, here are few ways where actions speak louder than words.
Send a care package: If someone you love lives far away from you, consider sending them a care package. When it comes to love, in today’s world of online shopping and door-step delivery service, distance is not a problem and you can still show them you really care about them. A package of the small things you know they’ll need or like is what you need to show your love without words.
Text each other for no reason: Especially after few years into marriage, make it a practice to text few words of care and appreciation, at least once or twice a day. Messages like, ’Thank you for a healthy breakfast’, ‘You looked handsome this morning in the new shirt’, ‘Did you have your lunch’, ‘Hope you reached office safely’,’ Thinking of you’, etc. It will make your partner feel loved and help to keep the spark of romance alive.
Kisses and hugs: When it comes to showing somebody that you love them without using words, the warmth of kisses and hugs are the best. Whether it’s a good morning or good night kiss or a hug, to let them know you care is a great way to express your love.
Place their needs before yours: All the clothes are on the terrace and it suddenly starts raining, you quickly run upstairs to fetch the clothes. And then picking their clothes first is a nice way of showing love without words. Or you and your spouse are going out for a social gathering and you choose the dress for your partner and iron it as well, is a warm, subtle but effective way of expressing love.
