Why is it happening only to me?

Have you ever felt “why is it happening only to me?” Well, most of us would have thought about it at some point in time of our life only to realize that it is not just you but most others also have faced it in some form or other. The only difference it makes is how resilient you are to overcome it. Some stay in that mindset only to put them into depression and some very quickly come out of it by looking at what next. That’s what makes a difference between a successful person and a struggling individual. The choice is with us to decide which way to take. At some point in time the choice of decision we made is what has made us what we are now.
This happened to me multiple times in my life. One such instance is at the peak of my career where I was living a life of my luxury with multiple own houses, vacations, happy family with 2 children, supporting friends and fulfilling career. With all these just one day of disaster in floods that brought family problem, property issue, quitting job and health issue, all at the same time turned the entire life upside down in a single year. Still can’t imagine how much I lost but it just made me realize on how strong we can be to get back on track.
Instead of thinking negatively that I have vanished, couldn’t come back, lost my health and career in MNC, here is my reflection that I have gone through. I look at it in a different perspective that destiny has given me my original physic as in college days for me to feel young, energetic and fresh by putting me in certain diet that works for me. Helped me to realize how important learning is and took me with Yoga practice, alternate therapy and Coach certification process to empower me to be an Entrepreneur now.
Having tasted the success already, it has ignited the drive in me again to look for new opportunities in this world confidently. We are not in run with any competitors but are competing against us. We should be the competitor for ourselves. Everyone is running their own race individually. If at all we need to compare, do it to learn from others mistakes and to get satisfaction in life by comparing yourself with those who have not got it as like you.
If you have a closer look into your life and watch as a third person “what’s happening to you”, there will be a pattern that you can observe and if you are able to get the emotions behind it and change our response to similar situations, the pattern vanishes. That’s about self-realization and awareness. From then on, the old problems and issues won’t be repeated but having said this, we need to be ready for new challenges in life with more consciousness. One tool that has helped me with is to ask questions (just before getting to bed for sleep) within yourself about things that you wanted to clarify and get a good night sleep. The answer will be right on your mind next morning when you wake up either through your dreams or by your thoughts.
