The workplace has changed. You get jobs through referral, just like getting clients or business comes from referral. To get your dream job think re
We have come full circle in the workplace from the beginning of the 20th Century. When the Europeans first came to this country they took their wares and put them on pushcarts and sold them on street corners. Their children—the first generation born in this country, entered the workforce just as the corporations were coming into existence, they started at the bottom and orked their way up to management level positions, then after 25 years they retired with a gold watch.
Their children were known as the Baby Boomer generation. They entered the workforce at the tail end of the corporate environment, after 15 or 20 years they were offered what was known as a buyout package to retire early—this was because there was an unwritten rule at the time that you had a guaranteed job for life.
Today, there are no guaranteed job, in fact, you can expect to have more than one career in your lifetime. Jobs that existed 10 years ago don’t exist today, jobs that exist today didn’t exist 10 years ago, and there will be jobs in the future that haven’t been invented yet.
Today, we have moved back to the entrepreneur only the place of business has changed. You work from home, for a company or yourself, plus we market products and services through the Internet using our websites as storefronts.
You promote your business using social media such as Facebook, My Space, Linkedin, ECT. to build your opt-in lists to market your products or business opportunities.
Network marketing companies or MLM companies are built through relationships that you build on. Amway proved the system can work. Now almost every new products sold by a company is done through network marketing, that is why I suggest to someone don’t get hyped up by the enthusiasm of the person trying to recruit you into the business.
I suggest you first look at what you have a passion for, and can you fulfill it by selling that product or service. Just because someone else can make money selling it doesn’t mean it will do the same for you.
