What is Christian Life Coaching / Spiritual Direction? I get this question sometimes. Here's my answer inspired by one of my mentors Keith Webb… :)
Christian coaching (and/or spiritual direction) is an ongoing conversation that empowers you to live out God’s calling – in your life and profession. The goal of coaching is for you to listen to Holy Spirit, discover new things about yourself, and take action to reshape your life around that learning.
Your coach walks with you to help you produce insights, greater personal awareness, changed behaviors, actions, and ultimately results that satisfy the client.
Much is expected of you: to evaluate, reason, imagine, decide, and implement. Coaching is about you – your goals, your learning, and your growth. Together you and your coach will listen to Holy Spirit to hear His voice about you.
