How To Start Living The Life You Want!

How do I achieve my goals and dreams? I want to start living the Life I want.
A long time ago when you were just a child, you saw with your very own eyes that the “good” behavior got you what you want. You saw, that if you followed the “rules” you got to be privileged over the children that didn’t. This outlook continues throughout life, getting more complex the older we get. We move from parents’ “rules”, to the educational system’s “rules” and then society gives us a whole set of new ones.
We grow up and into beliefs that tell us the real way to live is to finish school, find a job and then have a family. Although there is absolutely nothing wrong with finishing school, having a job and having a family, there is something very wrong with how they never teach us the importance of dreams and achieving them.
We are taught that we don’t have time for dreams, that they are a waste of time and that we should focus on getting “real jobs”. We get “sucked in” the “average” cycle. We get so busy; we don’t even remember that we forgot our dreams. Constantly meeting deadlines, checking off to-dos, making new to-dos, working, paying bills, going to work, paying off debt, responsibilities, errands and obligations consume up all of our time and all of our energy.
The rare hour or two that we don’t have anything to do, we are all by ourselves, we start to feel empty – and it’s not because you lack new to-dos or aren’t at work. It’s because you know, deep down inside, that your dreams are NOT a waste of time. You surely have a dream or two, but never really pay any attention to them because you are too busy or consider them to not be important.
Let me ask you a question, are you truly happy? I don’t mean just okay, I mean absolutely 100% satisfied, content and happy with your life? If you’re not, you need to ask yourself the next question: WHY NOT?
What is the point to life if you are not enjoying it 100% all of the time? Now, if you think that’s impossible, it’s no wonder why you aren’t completely satisfied and content. Your belief system is all-wrong.
That empty feeling I mentioned is there all of the time, but you only feel it when you are not focused on other things that distract you. That empty feeling is your mind giving you a warning that something is missing. The mind never forgets, even when you think you have forgotten something, it’s still there, and that really applies to your dreams. Your mind is reminding you that you have forgotten about something that you want and need.
That empty feeling will never really disappear; it will always be there in some way until you reach out for the things that are missing from that empty space – your dreams.
Whatever you have ever wanted from life, you can have. This may go against all of your beliefs and it may go against what is standardly taught to all of us, but it’s time you made a decision. If you are not 100% satisfied and content with the life you are currently leading, what does that tell you? Is that the point to life, to only be 95% happy, or even less?
Is it really normal to never be satisfied with your life, and can you imagine continuing to only be okay for the rest of your life while you watch other people living “the life”?
Can you make peace with that empty feeling? Or do you want that empty feeling to be replaced with pure happiness, success and a sense of achievement?
Change the way you view the world around you and change what you think of yourself. You can literally get whatever you put your mind to, you just need to start believing in yourself and believing in the power of your mind!
