But, you aren’t sure exactly how to find the right people to share it with. Maybe, someone recommend for you to post on social media, someone else encouraged you to just email the people you have, another person said just find them at networking events and someone else told you since there’s 8 Billion People on the plane don’t worry they’ll find you….so, what should you do first?
I can relate to the feelings of being overwhelmed, confused, anxiety and desperation that comes with the excitement of writing your first book or creating a new product, program or service. I was once where you are my Luv. I’d immediately tell myself to use these 5 strategies I’m about to share with you. Finding ideal clients/readers doesn’t have to be super hard and stressful. Strategy #1 Develop a Wilder, Successful & Non-Negotiable Entrepreneur Mindset
Most people when they think of mindset…they immediately think of meditation, spirituality, journals, yoga, happiness, etc. Believe it or not, creating a Wilder and Positive Mindset is really more about transforming to be, “Even Wilder…More Successful…and Being Non-Negotiable!” Get laser focused on not making your success non-negotiable, know what your passion is, know it’s OK for you to tell and sell your story, understand that if you don’t feel OK-“It’s OK to Not Be OK” and get moving taking action by accepting that your success beins with you and only you. If you miss this crucial step, you’ll hit a ton of roadblocks, let downs and disappointments while you travel your entrepreneur and author journey.
Learn to balance your personal and professional brands. Decide to make your business success your top priority. Identify your dreams and goals from both your personal and professional brands. Learn how to use the positive emotions surrounding your passion to motivate your creativity. Create SMART Goals to Attain Wilder Success. Whether it’s writing a fiction book, selling sneakers, coaching, etc. Identify why you want to share your story. Understand how your story will positively impact your community. Know the “Why” to becoming an Author or Entrepreneur. This will help you to next, identify how your why will help you create greater value with a larger impact.Remember, people only see one chapter of your story at a time. Know it’s OK to Not be OK as you’re becoming a Wilder, Successful & Non-Negotiable Entrepreneur. Identify this and take appropriate action i.e. breaks, counseling, client revision, etc.
Believe who you want to be and not what others say you are. If you don’t believe in your success neither will anyone else; to include your client and readers. Believe that you can Attain Wilder Success.
Properly Position Yourself for Success by Surrounding Yourself with Those Doing Better than You…This does not mean financially; it means mentally. Stay connected to those entrepreneurs/authors that are making things happen and staying positive while attaining their goals; these people are going places and can take you with them!
Developing this foundation now while things are exciting, fresh and not challenging is key for when the hard times come and when you feel no-one believes in you. Strategy #2 Identify Who You Are
You have many options when it comes to deciding who you want to become as an Entrepreneur or Author. And what you decide is key to attracting your next perfect client/reader. You’ll have to use your decision to know how to connect with and use your client/reader’s language i.e. use a series of words in various orders to grab your target market audience’s attention. I recommend using descriptive action verbs and adjectives to describe yourself. Know your Niche and market for your ideal client/reader by knowing how you want them to react.
Strategy #3 Decide Who Your Ideal Client/Reader Will Be
After you figure out who you will be, you’ll next have to identify who you’re ideal client/reader will be. This is the person you most want reading your book or the person you most see yourself giving your product, program or service to. Identify your ideal client/reader characteristics and values which will help you find out where they hang out online, and you can market to them more efficiently and effectively. To identify your perfect avatar, use descriptive emotional words to describe your client state of distress, and identify the pain point or reason they are in distress. Strategy #4 Create Unique Client Value
Thankfully, you don’t have to be a mind reader to figure out the client value. Because once you identify your ideal client/reader that you want to attract; the value will be doing what you love…easy peasy. To create client value, simply identify your solution to their distress i.e. book, fitness plan, coaching programs, etc. Ensure your value solves a pain point. I recommend trying to solve a common problem among those in your niche. You’ll be able to speak to your perfect client/reader directly, address their fears and struggles, and convince them why your offer is the answer they’ve been looking for.
Strategy #5 Discern How Your Value Helps Clients/Readers Live Their Best Life
What do you want them to get out of receiving your value? How do you want them to interact with your offer? Identify how they can live their best life as a result of using your solution. Use an adverb to help them realize the aim of using your solution (as a result, hence, consequently, then, therefore, thus, under these circumstances).
