Just How Far Will Your Career, Life, or Love-Life Go Without Help?

Could life and relationship coaching be the single best investment you’ll ever make in your future happiness?
“It’s like she can tell if I walk into the gym what kind of mood I’m in, what she has to fix for the practice I need, or how I’m feeling.” -Simone Biles
It’s a simple fact, athletes don’t excel in their sport without coaches. Can you name one competitive athlete, amateur or pro, who has utilized their potential, without at least some level of coaching?
Then why on earth would anyone think they can get more out of their career, life, or relationships without some level of professional guidance?
I’m often asked the question, why use a life coach? My answer is simple: get a life coach if you want to move your life or relationship from good to great, from average to spectacular, from lame to game.
The benefits of receiving coaching can be transformative, meaningful, and lasting in three primary areas: personal growth, social interaction, and relationship health.
Because it enables a shift in your perspective to a more objective frame of reference, life coaching can also have a positive impact on the world around you and those most important in that world. You see, our job as life coaches is to help you find your way through creating and amplifying what’s good, not just in your life, but in life all around you.
Through life coaching, you get a fresh perspective on tackling personal challenges, opportunities to engage with enlightened thinking, and exposure to enhanced decision making skills. Listen, practice, and test your new abilities and you can come out of the experience with more interpersonal effectiveness and increased confidence in your ability to achieve your goals.
Using a life coach is an investment in yourself, those you love today, and those you’ll love in the future. Just imagine what it would be like to be in a positive, empowering, non-threatening environment where you are free to discover yourself anew. Wouldn’t that be wonderful?
You weren’t born knowing how to walk or talk. You weren’t born knowing how to read or write. You weren’t born knowing how to drive a car or sail a boat. But you were born with the capacity to learn.
We are all naturally creative, intuitive, resourceful, and for the most part … whole. But, due to social, cultural, or familial pressure, over time we can lose sight of who we are, who we could be.
Life coaching—through proven methods of inquiry, active listening, exercise, practice, testing and tuning—empowers you to employ the drive and creativity you already have. Note that just as in sports, your life coach doesn’t carry you across the finish line. Through life coaching, you learn to create the breakthroughs yourself. You learn to overcome perceived limits. You learn to live and love better, but you are doing the living, the loving … the growing.
We’re all capable of finding the answers to the challenges we face. We just need the right coaching.
