Work Life Harmony Formula

This worksheet is a sample of what I use with new clients. The Power Wheel helps to get a meta view of what's working great where change is needed.
Wheel of Life – Identify Where You Are Now?
This is a perfect time of year to re-design your how your work and life integrates. Create your own formula that works for you.
In each area of your work and life, rate your current level of satisfaction from 0 to 10 by drawing a line in that slice of the wheel.
0 is most unsatisfied (center of the wheel) and 10 is the most satisfied (on the outside).
Write today’s date to label your chart.
When the seesaw of your life is in perfect balance, some may say that equals dead or “flat-line”.
Another way to see your life is like the creation of your favorite recipe for chocolate chip cookies. The recipe needs different amounts of ingredients. Some ingredients are more potent and full of flavour than other ingredients. True for cooking, true with your work ~ life harmony. Take the time to design the harmony of your work and life.
CHOOSE ONE area you want to make a change in. What would make that a score of 10?
Fulfillment Focus
Who do you need to BE to live at a 10?
What do you need to DO to live at a 10?
What’s possible?
What’s important about that? Or What values are you honoring?
What do you want?
What’s a stretch?
What are the possibilities? What’s another way to see that?
What does that look/feel/sound like?
How can you find a way to have it be fun?
If you could do anything you wanted, what would you do?
Perspective Focus
What concerns you most about ???
When you are 95 years old, what do you want to say about ____?
What impact will that have on the whole picture?
Co-Active Strategy – THIS IS YOUR FORMULA
Design key actions and new way of being to make the change you want to see.
· Actions you say YES to DOING
· Actions you say NO to DOING
· What do you say YES to BEING
· What do you say NO to BEING
Commitment & Accountability
Set your intentions clearly. Write them down. Share them with someone. Post them on your mirror or your phone’s screen saver.
· What by when?
· Who else will know?
· What assumptions have you abandon that are not serving you?
Consider hiring a coach like Andrea Kiss to help you design a life that is in harmony with your work. These questions are just samples of what a trained coach might ask you.
