Embracing the Rodeo Clown Inside You!

This Blog is a "remembrance" of WHO you really are! It provides you clues on how to find yourself as well as your purpose! Honor your inner child.
That is my sign-off and signature to anyone I send an e-mail or one of my letters. Why? Because it is a remembrance of your truth!
We all come into this world as a perfect creation of God! We are created in his image and we are perfect in all ways.
But as we get older we tend to lose sight of this important fact. After waves upon waves of insults to our personality and being (through our experiences in society) we discern that we aren’t so perfect resulting in all of us learning judgment, self-criticism and imperfections within and toward others.
Our thoughts start off as curious with grandiose dreams of changing the world, but as we age, our ego’s are developed to morph into a distorted view of our own identity. Instead of seeing ourselves as perfect, we learn to seek other’s approval and acceptance of our life choices on who we are and who we are supposed to be!
We learn how to blame others for our life circumstances and societies conditioning of who we are based on our gender, race, education and background. In other words, we were born as Whole Beings, but somewhere along the way we find ourselves as “limited.”
As we age, we learn about limitations as our form of comfort and seek security by finding a job, and personal life that keeps us feeling normal, or the “appearance of better than average (ego).” However, nothing can be further from the truth!
God did not create us to be limited, normal or average. We are created as a magnificent fragment of his Love, and we owe it to ourselves to regain the essence of his will by remembering our truth and authentic wholeness!
You were designed to do great things on this beautiful planet and follow your heart’s desires to fulfillment, joy and bliss – this is your birthright!
Often times, the dreams you had as a child are clues to your work as an adult, but we tend to shrug off the thoughts of being a Fireman or Rodeo Clown thinking those were childhood aspirations and silly dreams.
To parents that often persist that our children aspire to great things, a Fireman or Rodeo Clown doesn’t always sound like the highest potential for our children, but the essence of these jobs demonstrate, courage, heroism and protection for others.
You see, we weren’t all designed to be NBA All Stars, Doctor’s or Lawyers in life. That doesn’t mean that only a few of us were meant for greatness or financial success. It simply means that we can ALL be like Michael or Kobe, but we have to find our OWN basketball court in life.
To recapture your own magnificence you must first recognize the expert in your life is YOU (regardless of whom may think knows better for your life)! To regain your wholeness is about developing an intimate relationship with God through prayer, meditation and affirmations!
In addition you must learn to trust God by developing awesome faith, and being grateful for what you have and WHO you are! Then it’s a matter of letting go of anything extraneous in your life, which could be people, circumstances or ego.
Here’s to Your Magnificence!
