Be aware of your weaknesses, not DEFINED by them...

Encouraging words to remind people to never lose hope because of past mistakes and always see the beauty in themselves.
As we grow up from children to adults, we are often reminded and humbled when we do things wrong. It normally starts with parents, then teachers, then dreadful dating, and let’s not forget the work world and managers. If self-esteem is not established early in life, it is easy to harp on the things about yourself that need improvement based on the opinions of others and rejection. Imagine taking the same energy we put into trying to correct and mask our imperfections and investing that energy into discovering and strengthening our natural powers. Think about how much further we would be in life; this is not to say, ignore and defend your weaknesses when they need to be addressed, it is to remind you to put the same energy into developing your strengths. Work on your total unique package and learn to be comfortable with who you are as a WHOLE PERSON. Cultivating your self awareness brings self improvement and higher self-esteem; it allows you to maintain confidence in who you are even in the face of defeat and disapproval. Confidence is something you can wear that never gets old or goes out of style so take some much needed time and think about all the things you do well for a change and give yourself a pat on the back. Remember we are all a sum of our experiences and our imperfections are what make us human, so own them but don’t let them determine your success.
P.S. Remember to compliment others on their positive points just as much as you remind them of their negatives, you never know how much your words can lift someone’s spirit.
