Having your own Life Coach provides you and edge, encouraging and enabling you to set and achieve goals, gain clarity and realize accomplishments.
Having your own personal coach provides you with an edge, enabling you to go from being great to being extraordinary. When you make a commitment to yourself by hiring a life coach, a LOT of positivity and accomplishment will flourish in your world. Many of today’s successful leaders, professionals, executives, entrepreneurs and CEOs use the services of a life coach to take their lives, careers, or businesses to the next level.
Life coaches are part motivators, strategists, and accountability partners. They help their clients in setting and achieving goals, making important life transitions, blasting through blocks and fears, clearing out “clutter” in their lives, getting unstuck or out of ruts, identifying core values and passions, getting organized, finding the ideal partner/love/relationship, obtaining the optimal career/work/business, living the quintessential life, enjoying greater peace-of-mind, becoming more fulfilled . . . . and more!
People frequently ask me what type of work I do and whom I work with. I can honestly say that I love being a life coach! I’ve worked with women starting over in their careers mid-life. More than a couple of my clients have worked with me while starting their own businesses and it’s been very exciting and fulfilling to watch and help them along their journey. I have a client- a professional completing her MA- cycling out of a rut of too much work and not enough play and we’ve gotten her on a great path of self-care including making time to work out, spend time with friends, and even starting to date again. I have an overseas client who is working on bringing his consulting business to North America and we’ve worked on communication barriers, moving logistics, and goal setting for the new business plan as well as dealing with college-age children and the move. Another client is dealing with transitioning between career, caring for aging parents, and dealing with young adult children. My current youngest client is dealing with graduate school, career, and online dating and I have to say I’ve learned a lot from her about that scene! In fact, I learn so much from all of my clients and I love that! People come to coaching because they want change now. These people are goal orientated, often holding senior positions at work and can’t be seen as vulnerable. They want change in their life and a life coach to assist them in the process.
These are just a few examples of Life Coaching. Many thanks to my fabulous clients who have taught me such valuable lessons. I sincerely hope you all have learned just as much from your life experiences and may you learn and grow much more in the years to come. What is the short take-away? To remember that work-life balance is of vital importance. Love and romance make life more fun. Having a career you love is much better than a job you tolerate. Setting boundaries is necessary. Inner peace helps you maintain equilibrium. Follow your purpose every day. And last but not least, love and trust yourself!
