Beam Me Up Scotty - Beyond the Words

What is the energy you are approaching a situation with? Let's move from fear based energy to trust based.
During this year, I “played” with words – I paid attention to the words I used and what affect they had on my approach to things. I used the word “play” rather than “work” with the intention of taking things less seriously. I used the word “could” instead of “should” with the intention to feel into choice rather than pressure.
This play with words has worked really well – I’m enjoying the sense of freedom I feel from loosening my grip on words that cause more pain than pleasure.
Recently, I decided to up my play a bit. I want to go beyond the words.
Yes, the words I choose do have an affect on my thoughts and emotions. And yet, I notice that sometimes I can change the words coming out of my mouth and still be driven by a fear based energy that’s lurking behind the words.
The intuitive, Masami Saionji was given the ability to see thoughts after having a near death experience. She says “the thoughts, words and emotions that human beings emit from moment to moment are constantly streaming forth from their bodies, forming creative fields that are visible in various colors, forms and shapes. Some of the creative fields are hazy and cloudy in appearance and they hover around the person in indeterminate patterns. Others are extremely tenacious, and they twine tightly around the person like a resilient string.
Emotions like happiness and affection appear in shining colors and they envelop the person in a halo-like radiance. Emotions like worry, fear, and animosity reflect smoky colors, and they adhere closely to the person in a suffocating manner. Each thought or emotion holds it own unique form of creative energy….”
There is a wise saying of a famous Jewish sage that “You are where your thoughts are.” I never quite understood what this meant until I read this passage from Masami and recognized that our subconscious thoughts are controlling our emotional energy which in turn controls our vibrational energy. And that is exactly where “we are”. Not from a physical standpoint, but from an energetic, vibrational, spiritual standpoint.
So, if my subconscious thoughts are fear based, then my vibrational energy is fear based. If my subconscious thoughts are spiritual and trust based, then my vibrational energy is just that. And these two choices are the determining factors of where “I am”.
The physical place that I am standing may be freezing Chicago or warm, sunny Florida, but in this day and age as the veils between the physical realm and the spiritual realm dissolve, the energetic place of where I’m standing counts the most.
When I’m worried and in fear, doubting my abilities, doubting the assistance of a divine source, then those smoky colors are around me and suffocating me.
When I’m trusting that I have soulful help and guidance from a source beyond the physical, then I’ll feel “happier” and be enveloped in a halo-like radiance.
Which place would I like to choose to be in? Yup, you got it – halo-like radiance sounds much better to me than suffocation.
So, I know what I want to choose and yet I recognize that as simple as it sounds, it’s not that easy. I’ve got the ego part of me that is scared from what it sees as the limitations of this physical world and I’ve got the spiritual part of me that is a Higher Source and has the vision to see beyond worldly constrictions.
To remind myself in difficult moments to tap into the higher part of me, I’ve adopted the mantra of “Beam me up, Scotty.”
Saying this to myself makes me smirk and reminds me “oh yeah, I want to go up.” Then I breathe deeply.
This breath brings my body into a calmer more trusting emotional state – that’s the vibrational place I want to be. From here I have greater access to my soul self and intuitive thoughts and more possibility of that halo-like radiance.
That vibration certainly feels better to me and I’m sure, to others whom I am interacting with and speaking to.
Sometimes if that worry feels really suffocating and the “beam me up” isn’t working as fast as I want, I add a heartfelt “please.” I sigh, instead of smirk, and that word play puts me into a vibration of humility.
And that is a divine place to be.
