How much of your energy are you spending in the right way each day?
Where does your energy go each day? What do you spend it on? How much of this precious personal resource do you choose to put towards what you love and what inspires you personally, mentally, physically, emotionally or spiritually each day? Ok now much of your resources do you put toward things that you tolerate, those energy sucking tasks or frustrations that negatively impact forward movement towards your personal goals? Jot down percentages for both and just go with your gut on this. Now look at the gap. Are you spending too much of your resource, energy, money, time on tolerations? Could that energy spend that you chalk up as only an irritant be more costly than you think?
Lets dig a little deeper and take a look at how much that choice costs you personally, because yeah, it’s a choice. It’s hard to admit, but it is. Not making a decision is a choice. It’s the choice to stay put or stay stuck. It’s a choice to keep tolerating energy wasters. Is that hard to hear?
Tolerations suck up your time, energy and attention and sometimes your money, but very often they can be delegated or released. Consider this, if you let go of something you tolerate that isn’t beneficial to your life what’s the worst that can happen, or better still what’s the best that can happen? Will you do it? Will you challenge yourself to let go of just three toleration this week? Which ones could they be? What amazing energizing, growth inspiring action can you put in their place?
What will your life look like and how you would change if you chose to release those things that you that don’t feed your vision? Take a second, close your eyes and visualize it. Paint a quick picture in your head. One minute, surely you can grant yourself that short meditation to create a better more fulfilling life. It starts there after all…painting a vision around your inspiration.
Imagine all that you could discover by cutting your curiosity loose. Releasing yourself from internal and external judgment and letting yourself explore the possibilities. Choose not to put up boundaries or shackle yourself with judgement or presumption for this short moment. Open yourself up to choice and what your definition of a quality whole life can look like.
Now quickly before the inspirations flies away jot down the next best action to can take to make this happen.
Voila, your journey has begun. Its up to you.
