Healthy Habits for Busy Women

Do you know why time management goals fail? They lack strategy and structure to support change. Create one Healthy Habit a month instead of stress.
Resolution List- Do you start out the New Year with a long list of to do things that you want to accomplish? Here are some ideas to have you feel good about your resolutions.
Think big
Have two or three overall ideals that guide your actions all year long. Post them up where you can read them every morning and reflect on them every evening.
Here are my personal favorites-
Speak up about the positives
Make deliberate choices
Do one hard thing every day
Create one Healthy Habit every month. Instead of having 10 fitness goals to achieve in January, Pick one area to focus your attention on every month. Set a specific target, like exercise 15 minutes daily or pack a healthy lunch 5 days a week. Then track your success with a gold star on every day you hit that target. Make your success chart visible- use a wall calendar or create a resolution chart.
Whatever your goals are for 2011. Here are three things you need to have to make them happen.
• Strategies-the actions you take to achieve your goal
• Structure- how you make the time or set up a schedule to make actions turn into habits
• Support-yourself by recognizing steps of success, have friends help you, surround yourself with people who are a positive influence for the changes you desire
Small daily steps will get your desired outcomes
Every day is a clean slate to turn your big ideas into actions
Taking care of yourself first gives you the energy to tackle the world next
