What one thing did all of the greatest leaders do that most modern leaders completely overlook?
First, let’s reflect on the leaders most of us hold highest.
Candidates might include Martin Luther King, Lincoln, Gandhi, Nelson Mandela, Jesus, and Buddha.
None of these great leaders commanded great empires or resources. None leveraged hierarchy and force. Without royalty, organizational pyramids, or armies, how did they do it?
The common element is this …
They described a better version of ourselves and let us find a way to it.
