You are valuable in your uniqueness…
Do you agree?
Do you truly understand what that means?
Do you understand the full value of “You being you”? You not caving into what the rest of the world’s current fade is?
Do you value your uniqueness?
You, You, You… What about me?
Do I value my uniqueness?
Truth be told it took me many years to value myself and my unique qualities.
I always looked at me being different so negatively.
I remeber being younger and only wanting to fit in.
To fit in with who though?
Now that I look back over my life, I see that everyone was just trying to “fit in”.
My question is, if we are all playing a game of follow the leader; who is the real leader, and why do we (or should I say, why did I) want to follow this leader so bad?
Especially when following the leader means giving up me…
Giving up my genuineness …
Giving up on who I was meant to be…
Now that I am older, I see the beauty and value of being a loner and different.
I love being myself. I love thinking outside the box, viewing life though a different perception as everyone else.
Having my own mind and not worrying how others will perceive me has been a big weight off of my shoulders. I feel like being true to myself has allowed me to start fulfilling my purpose and reaching my destiny.
Honestly, I think we all would be suprised to our many gifts and talents that we have stored up just waiting for us to allow them to shine. Being true to you may seem scary, but trust me when I say it’s worth i!
