Achievement is always built on hard work.
Today’s Action Here Next Door is Jay Taylor, Founder of Leverage Digital.
Jay Taylor has led Leverage Digital to win numerous industry accolades, including recently being named the 14th fastest growing alumni-owned business by the University of South Florida. Jay has worked in web development and digital marketing since 2008, and graduated with honors from the University of South Florida with an MBA in Finance and Marketing.
>> Whether he’s in the gym, or achieving academically or building a business from scratch…for Jay Taylor hard work always past off.
Consistent effort is one of Jay’s keys to success. He doesn’t shy away from hard work. In fact he’s emotionally prepared to put in the effort and he’s ready for the very real possibility of setbacks along the journey.
Both his parents hunker down, stay focused and put one foot in front of the other on their paths to achieving goals and realizing dreams…Jay is no different.
Avoiding the effort needed to bring your Vision into reality is the guaranteed path to regret and a mediocre, unfulfilled life.
>> Mindset and Inner World
Jay doesn’t believe in blind “hard work”. It’s about being strategic and tactical with your time, money and effort as you build your dream. It’s about “quality” of work, not “quantity” of work.
So make sure you 1) know where you want to go (goals, direction, Vision) and 2) measure to verify if you’re on-track or off-track.
Jay’s key motivation to build his own business came from his dread at the idea of working for someone else and his powerful desire to build something positive that would outlive him.
