When you feel deep compassion in your relationship you are much closer to finding your soulmate.
It has been said that to find your soulmate there must be compassion between the two of you. But true compassion is hard work, and it’s worthwhile. As Ralph Waldo Emerson wrote, “It is one of the most beautiful compensations of life that no man can sincerely try to help another without helping himself.”
When you feel deep compassion in your relationship you are much closer to finding your soulmate.
There are an infinity of Soul Mates out there that we will encounter during our lives. While some come to teach us something new, others come to share our joys. While some last for only a few months or years, others last for a lifetime.
The trick is to develop your compassion muscles. How can you walk in the others shoes for a mile? How can you deeply understand the others emotions? Ask yourself, Would I want a mate like me? If I saw the world from their eyes would I feel deeply heard?
Turn within and ask your higher knowing to show you where you lack integrity, love, trust, compassion, forgiveness, and acceptance. Do some real soul searching. Notice when you are compassionate and when you are not. You could even keep a diary of when you have been compassionate. Also notice the times during your day when you are just the opposite . What triggers that?
Once you have a clear idea about your compassion muscles , you will be that much closer to finding " the one."
