Creating this connection can alieviate complacency and feelings of disinterest in your life. How might creating this connection empower your life?
As a Transformational Coach for Men, many of our sessions revolve around feelings of dis-interest in the things they are doing. In order to understand the disconnect between what you do and your motivation for your actions – we need to know: where this emotion has started, why, and create new choices that honor the values that inspire you to move forward.
You state that you KNOW it is because you are complacent that you make mistakes. Given that is true:
When was the first time you felt complacent when doing a work task?
Where were you?
Who were you with?
What was the task?
Why were you feeling complacent about it?
Once you are aware of these feelings, you can begin to create new choices that honor your values.
How can you create situations that will inspire you?
Given the awareness of what and why you are not inspired now, what is the first step towards creating these new situations that inspire you?
What might stop you from taking these steps?
How true are those reasons?
If they are – what other choices do you have that can alieviate them?
Creating awareness of how you feel about what you do – and determining new choices that feel right can change your life. Immediately.
