Today is the day that we stop looking around for someone from the past to save us. Today is the day we look within, today is the day we look around, today is the day we eliminate all excuses and weaknesses from our daily routine. It’s easier to understand your role when you realize that you are an answer to a prayer that was made long ago. We pray for cures to disease, we pray for an end to violence, we pray for an end to police corruption, we pray for better living standards and a whole host of other desires.Aren’t you sick and tired of hearing “The government is getting worse”, “the schools are getting worse”, “health is getting worse”, “religion is getting worse”. In a nutshell PEOPLE ARE GETTING WORSE.
Well The God, the universal mind, the Most High, God in Person or whatever you may refer to this power as, has always answered prayers through the birth, acts, and deeds of men and women. It is you and I who are the answers to prayers. If you knew who you were you would possibly act different, spend your time a little differently and live a little better.
Dr. Donald Grady often states “Bad things continue to happen because the good guys quit, stay silent in critical times, and hope for someone else to do what they have the power to do”. Many of us are waiting for a savior to come and help us, but today we must become saviors of ourselves and those around us.
We long for the return of our great heroes and Sheroes, their mindset and spirit can and will return in us if we are prepared to be workers and followers of their ways and not worshipers alone. Prophet Muhammad is quoted as saying “one learned man is harder on the devil then a million ignorant worshipers. Jesus states in the Bible “Greater works then these shall you do also”.
To strengthen our desire and skill level we must qualify ourselves by getting the necessary education, training, mentorship and rise through the various degrees of on the job training. Start where you are with what you have and with what you can. This isn’t a one man or a one woman job, many hands will be needed.
Dissatisfaction brings about change, the world is nearly at 100% dissatisfaction, and nature is producing the men and women to bring about the change. You are an answer to a prayer and you don’t even know it……WILL YOU ANSWER THE CALL?
